Defining the Problem
Everyone who uses the Internet has an adversary. For most individuals and businesses this “adversary” is an undefined variable representing a spectrum of seemingly endless possibilities. You could be the opportunistic target of the criminal roaming the Internet. You could be in possession of information prized by organized criminal organizations that can be sold on underground forums. You could be the key to accessing intellectual property or to individuals who are targets of espionage by nation states. Regardless of by whom and for what reason, you are a target.
