Coming fall of 2025

After 25 years of defending some of the top businesses, enterprises, and government agencies in the world against the most sophisticated adversaries, I’m pivoting my attention to help individuals, families, and small business owners defend their way of life in this digital age.

After fielding years of questions from friends and family, and after experiencing numerous fraud scams and cyber attacks myself, I have come to realize that no one is preparing our youth, nor our heads of household, nor our business owners for the dangers of the Internet.

The transformation to the digital age is now 20 years old and the current generation knows nothing of a pre-Internet world. The Internet is simply part of life for all of us, and those of us who were first generation Internet users were largely pulled into the transformation that was happening around us. Yet I can find little if any educational, preparatory, nor helpful cybersecurity service that is geared toward you and I as individuals living in a dual world.

So I seek to address that with Practive Security. Right now I’m in preparation phase with a plan to launch all our services in the fall of 2025. I have a lot of content in the works already, and a lot to come. If you want to follow along with this journey, check out the Practive Security Substack page. Over there I’m publishing some summaries and thought leadership pieces that are an extension of the research I’m doing for content that will be released to Practive Security customers once the business launches.

For now, start collecting those questions and watch the site for news of the formal launch.
